My name is Diane Bean and I’m the owner of Off On Vacation Travel, a luxury boutique style travel agency located in Bangor, Maine. I was born in Berlin, Germany and I speak both English and German. I’ve been a professional travel advisor for over 30 years, and have clients from all over the United States. I’ve been a front line travel agent, travel agency manager and now I’m an agency owner. I love what I do. My personal specialities are European, Culinary, Romance and Exotic Island travel. I love working with my heavy referral and repeat clientele.

I was born in Germany and have lived in the country 4 different times (totaling 14 years) over the course of my life. German was even my first language!
I love German cuisine, especially sausages. And lucky for me, I married the owner of a meat market, so I can enjoy similar delicacies here in the States anytime.
I have a Basset-Hound / Pug mix, Bailey, who despite my passion for and career in travel, hates to go anywhere except to the couch. He doesn’t even enjoy car rides, how is this my pet?
